These sweet treats are based on the traditional Maltese Easter gift: Figolli.

A sweet shortcrust pastry, filled with moist Australian almonds. In our twist we’ve ditched the traditional Royal Icing and switched it up by bringing some of the favoured flavours of Malta right to the front: oranges, honey from our happy backyard bees and fennel pollen from the garden.
